Software Development Engineer
Overview
Green Hills Software is seeking a Software Development Engineer to take complete engineering responsibility for major components of Green Hills products — developing novel solutions for software that never fails and cannot be hacked.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement major components of Green Hills’ RTOS, compilers, or embedded development tools
- Develop novel solutions for safety-critical and security-sensitive systems
- Own the full development lifecycle from design through deployment
- Work on systems used in automotive, aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial applications
- Collaborate with organizations including JPL, Boeing, GM, Hewlett Packard, Intel, and Nintendo
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or equivalent at the time of starting employment
- GPA of 3.25 or greater
- Strong programming skills in C and C++
- Willing and able to work independently with little supervision
- Comfortable with the idea of personally creating a complex 25,000+ line application in about a year
- Innovative and passionate about coding
- Excited to take on new challenges
