Senior Software Engineer
Overview
SAIC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and sustain software for ground-based radar sensors critical to US Space Force missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions.
Responsibilities
- Code development and code deployment for software version releases modifying the software baseline of BMEWS/PAVE PAWS ground-based radar sensors.
- Design, develop, document, test and debug application software.
- Conduct analysis and collaborate with subject matter experts in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems.
- Support system integration, test, development, and execution of various types of complex systems.
- Develop technical solutions to complex problems requiring regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
- Participate in troubleshooting systems to resolve complex issues and coordinate with engineers responsible for sustaining operational and test systems.
Requirements
- Bachelors and five (5+) years’ relevant experience.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Experience developing software with C/C++, Java, Python and FORTRAN.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with real-time embedded software for ground-based radar.
- Experience leading agile software development teams.
- Experience as a Scrum Master and Product Owner.
- Knowledge of the Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment mission and associated enterprise.
