Senior Systems Engineer — Test Bench & Embedded Systems
Overview
SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to develop electronic architectures and embedded controls for tactical vehicle platforms with CAN/LIN architectures, test bench integration, and model-based design.
Responsibilities
- Perform systems engineering and electronic architecture development for tactical vehicle platforms, focusing on advanced power systems, embedded control, and full vehicle system integration.
- Design automotive electrical harnessing.
- Integrate ECUs and embedded modules.
- Run functional tests similar to OEM validation.
- Create system-level documentation.
- Support prototype build events.
- Troubleshoot vehicle electrical and electronic issues.
Requirements
- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Systems Engineering disciplines.
- Experience in automotive electrical systems, embedded systems, power systems, infotainment, or diagnostics systems.
- Experience in automotive HIL/SIL test environments.
- Automotive Electrical System Design, Vector CANoe, Mathlab Simulink.
- Preferred: coding with CAPL and C#.
- U.S. citizenship required due to government program requirements.
