Embedded Engineer — Video Products
Overview
Ubiquiti is seeking an Embedded Engineer to develop embedded firmware and Linux systems for video products using C and C++.
Requirements
- 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience with C and C++ on Linux or Unix platforms
- Experience with ARM processors and embedded Linux
- Experience working with H.265
- Experience with Git including merging and rebasing
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits
- Experience with embedded Linux systems (cross-build, flash, boot, system initialization, rootfs packaging, fault-tolerance, IPC, embedded filesystems) and distributions (Yocto, Buildroot, OpenWRT)
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Must be in Kyiv or willing to relocate
Preferred
- Knowledge of the Linux kernel
- Experience with SoCs, preferably multimedia-targeted
- Video processing, streaming, encoding, and decoding
- Experience with OpenCV
- Image processing, tuning, and enhancement
- OOP and OOD with strong C and C++ programming
- BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field
