1. Information We Collect

EmbeddedDOESHire is designed to collect as little data as possible. We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, session recording, or any surveillance technologies.

Contact Form

When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. This information is provided voluntarily by you.

Report Button

When you report a listing, we collect the job URL, title, company name, and a timestamp. No personal information is collected through the report system.

2. How We Use Your Data

Any data you provide is used solely for the purpose you intended:

• Contact form submissions are used exclusively to respond to your inquiry.
• Report submissions are used to verify and remove dead or inaccurate listings.

We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We never use your data for advertising, profiling, or marketing automation.

3. Third-Party Services

EmbeddedDOESHire uses the following third-party services. Each is limited in scope and carefully vetted for privacy practices.

Cloudflare Pages. Our site is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process limited IP address data as part of standard HTTP request handling. Cloudflare’s privacy policy is available at: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

Cloudflare Workers. Report submissions are processed by Cloudflare Workers and stored in Cloudflare KV with a 90-day expiration. Data is temporarily processed in Cloudflare’s global network.

Formspree. Contact form submissions are processed by Formspree, a form-to-email service. Formspree temporarily stores submission data to deliver it to our inbox. Formspree’s privacy policy is available at: https://formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy

Self-Hosted Fonts. EmbeddedDOESHire serves its own font files directly from the same server. No external font services are contacted when you visit the site. All typography is delivered from our own infrastructure.

Email Service. Contact form submissions are forwarded to our email inbox for response. Our email provider processes message data to store and deliver communications to us.

4. Data Retention

• Formspree. Submission data is retained temporarily for delivery purposes.
• Cloudflare KV. Report data is automatically deleted after 90 days.
• Email inbox. Message data is retained in our inbox until deleted by the operator.

You may request earlier deletion of your data at any time — see Section 5 below.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

GDPR Rights (European Economic Area residents)

• Right to access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Right to restrict processing — request limitation of how we use your data.
• Right to data portability — request transfer of your data to another service.
• Right to object — object to our processing of your data.

CCPA Rights (California residents)

• Right to know — request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected.
• Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected.
• Right to opt out — the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

6. Data Security

Because EmbeddedDOESHire is a static site with no database, login system, or user accounts, our attack surface is inherently minimal. Security measures include:

• HTTPS everywhere. All traffic is encrypted in transit via TLS.
• No database. No user data is stored in a traditional database.
• Minimal data collection. The less data we hold, the less there is to compromise.
• Cloudflare security. We benefit from Cloudflare’s DDoS protection, WAF, and security hardening.

Despite these measures, no online service is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the site. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
